Canon EOS 250D | 100mm | 1/80s | f/9 | ISO 200 Taken on 12/09/2021. The 'Corno Grande' (Great Horn) is the highest point in the Apennine Mountains, situated in Abruzzo in central Italy. Part of the Gran Sasso massif, it is the highest peak in mainland Italy outside of the Alps at 2,914 metres above sea level. The mountain is at its most awe-inspiring on the north side near Lago di Pietranzoni where the vertical relief is absolutely exceptional.
