For the fic writer asks :]
Can I ask 1, 14 & 27?
Another question that (obviously) is not on the ask list but I'm very curious about: after the Cornered bad/sad endings, like Bakura's happy ending and the brainwash au, does Bakura continue his yearly kills, or does he stop because "caring" for Ryou is his new project now?
Also: Not a question, but just wanted to share this, because I think it's really cool:
Found these at a shipwreck museum, and it reminded me of Rivalry Bakura. I know it's lizards and not snakes, but lizards are basically snakes with legs, right? 😅
Anywayyyy, have a nice day :]
First of all YAYYYYY to those cool little lizard medallions(??)— I love going to museums and stuff and literally anything with a snake on it I'm like "rivalry :D" in fact, I bought a pair of earrings recently with snakes on em that I felt were very Rivalry Bakura LMAO so thank you for sharing those! I love them!!
Anywho, on to the questions:
1.) The last sentence you wrote
I literally could not figure out what that was so here's a dialogue snippet from the last thing I worked on (that I for-now finished yesterday :D)
No forensics team will hire you. And, what was it you told me? This was your 'dream come true'?
14.) Where do you get your inspiration?
Oh man... You know, I think literally from media I consume LOL Especially when it comes to fanfiction, haha. Like, if I go see a movie and I'm not reporting back to my discord braincell on how the plot of the movie can be yugioh-ified, was it even a good movie? XD
No but for real I think a lot of my inspo comes from movies, tv shows, and books that I read or have read in the past. Combine that with my own life experiences and there's loads to be thinking about hehe :-) I just take things I like and make them my own, I suppose
27.) Your favorite part of the writing process
wowie this is a good question... I think I have two: My first favorite is when you JUST come up with the idea and you get to have fun and explore the scenes that are vivid in your mind... Like the stuff that you just NEED to write because if you don't you'll go insane— I love when that happens :-)
My second favorite part of the process has to be when you finally get to share it with other people :') There's just something special about sharing a work and putting it out there and seeing how others interpret your creation. It's necessary in my opinion! Keeps you fueled and going :3
and finally...
"Another question that (obviously) is not on the ask list but I'm very curious about: after the Cornered bad/sad endings, like Bakura's happy ending and the brainwash au, does Bakura continue his yearly kills, or does he stop because "caring" for Ryou is his new project now?"
It is awesome that you ask me this... I don't think I've been asked this until some recent comments on Cornered, lol.
No! :D There is no killing! :D and here's my evil explanation why that'll make you feel a little bit sad (or at least it makes me a little bit sad):
With everything going on with Ryou, Bakura esentially just.. forgets that he's a serial killer. Like. His full time job is keeping an entire human being off the grid and then some ON TOP of his actual full time job Serving the Community with his Doctor-ly Duties. Especially in the brainwash au when Ryou's electrotherapies (i'm sorry to anyone reading this that has no idea what im talking about I promise I'm normal) become numerous and way over the limit of how much electricity should be shot into someone's brain if at all, Bakura has to be there for him. Ryou has to be the only thing he can think about in order for any of it to be worth the time and money.
Plus, Bakura doesn't feel like he needs to. His relationship with Ryou is objectification, really. Investigator Touzoku Ryou, in any state, living with him and never leaving is the equivalent of putting a shiny trophy on the mantel. He won the game. He's satiated an appetite he never thought could be satiated—Except now there's a new appetite: Getting his trophy to love him back, getting his trophy to stay put on his own... Anything to keep the trophy from falling off the mantel and rolling away :D
I digress. The point is: If Investigator Touzoku Ryou was told "hey, if you stay in big house and get your brain zapped and memories wiped by a serial murderer, he won't kill anyone ever again" .... He would probably consider it and would probably rationalize it a la "trolly problem" rules. He's... a mess
