I HAVE REALLY EXCITING NEWS!
I’m gonna give you a little backstory so you know exactly why I’m so excited! For those of you who don’t know, I’m OBSESSED with corgis. I think they are literally the cutest dog ever and their fluffy little butts melt my heart. I’ve developed a strong love for corgis over the years and I freak out whenever I see one in person because they’re like a rare Pokemon in Hawaii. Every time I see one I make sure to ask the owner where they got their corgi and if they know anywhere I could get one, but every time so far they say the breeder is no longer breeding or they got their corgi on the mainland. I have a corgi calendar, corgi socks, a corgi mug, corgi stationary, and more but no actual corgi </3
So here’s the exciting news. Last week in my mom’s office I was talking to a patient about her adorable new puppy that she brought with her to her appointment. I asked her where she got her puppy and then told her I’ve been looking all over for a corgi. She then told me that she knew a family that was moving and had a 14-month old corgi named Stella that they were trying to give away! I asked her if she could give them my information and tell them that I would love the corgi with all my heart and give it a forever home.
When I first started talking to the family they said they were trying to decide whether or not to give Stella to a couple they had been talking to. I then asked all my friends and family to pray for me because they all know how much I want a corgi and how much I would love her. Well, I just heard back from them and they decided not to give her to the couple and they want to give her to me!!!! It’s not 100% official because Stella needs to come to my house and meet my family and pups to make sure they’ll all get along and Stella is happy at my house. BUT HOLY CRAP THIS IS A FREAKING MIRACLE!!!! I’ve been looking for a corgi for years and was willing to spend $2,000 for one, but I might get a 14-month old corgi for free!!! I’m gonna post a photo of her because she’s perfect in every way!
