CoraShanks:

1) law/asl stepbrothers is hysterical 2) i’ve read three fics for this ship and they’re all adorable 3) shanks takes one look at this 10 ft blond setting himself on fire and thinks “i can’t NOT marry him.”

Objectively could be a half decent ship (dad that stepped up x dad that stepped up (kind of, in respect to shanks saving Luffys life but not being an active father figure in his life). They’re both kind of goofy albeit serious when the situation calls for it and I feel like they’d bond over their love of their kind of stupid sons who they sacrificed a part (or all) of themselves for. However only really probably in a fixit au where Cora survives somehow (??) and then maybe meets shanks through Luffy and law??? I haven’t thought this through honestly they were just the first to jump to mind because as someone who enjoys a good time travel fic I have seen the pairing a fair amount.

I think they are cute and they can bond over being mentors to insane D kids.

Look you can't tell me that these two goofballs wouldn't hit it off immediately and gush about their adorable sons. And the minute someone threatens any of their kids, the goofball switch is flipped and they'll destroy anything in their way.

They are about the same age and can bond over trying to be father figures to insane Ds.

Cora being thrown into the drama of werewolf society and the politics between them and vampires.

Doffy who is making it more complicated, he is a fledgling getting involved in treaties that were set up thousands of years ago, meeting Shamrock who represents the werewolf side of things in the area, arguing that despite Shanks being his brother, he is by all means a lone wolf and is not protected by the laws as he does not have a wolf pack instead spending times with humans and the 'lesser races'

(Doffy's ears perk up at the mention of lesser races, match made im heaven xd)

The vampire council brushes Shamrock aside, saying he is just a pup who knows nothing and he should have studied more from the previous Alpha of the area(his father)

Shamrock who hates being brushed aside acts all polite but is seething. When he leaves he decides to work with Doflamingo to take down Shanks

Tasty vibes is that if Shanks is the true Alpha but because he stepped aside, Shamrock was given the throne. He is not happy about it but wouldnt kill his brother since he already has it. That would lose him respect.

Doffy seeing that is like *aha* something I can use to kill my brother, both our brothers! He weaves a web to convince Shamrock to work together.

It works and they do.

Shanks on the other hand is watching the talks carefully while distracting Cora from everything thats going on. They with a little cabin in the woods where most of Shanks' hybrid pack runs raising kid Law, and sometimes Luffy who runs in the woods, plus half a dozen other kids.

Luffy being not wolf or vampire but something else, a child born of the forest, a fledgling god that all the wild answer to, fae rules. Shanks probably knows but nobody else does xd
