3: what work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

probably escape velocity! it’s not done yet, but so much love and planning and research went into this fic that really makes it a work of passion and i couldn’t be more proud of it!! just for example lmao i spent hours online looking up which constellations are visible above varadero during late december from 1 to 4am, and then went deep into some of them to figure out which ones would fit my narrative in chapter 4, and then went even deeper into telescope forums and stargazing how-to’s to find out how lance could find them hehe. also looking up tidal patterns on the coast of brazil to make sure they’re accurate for lance teaching keith how to surf! it’s little things like this that make me endlessly proud of this fic! and not to mention that it’s the longest project i’ve ever worked on thus far!! it’s really exciting :)

27. what do you listen to while writing?

i have dedicated playlists for every single one of my wips! so it changes with every fic, but it's usually a mix of alternative and slower, quieter music! the lyrics have to vaguely remind me of it so i can rotate the fic in my head while i'm just listening to music without even writing HAHA that being said, i think racing mount pleasant has made it into every single fic playlist of mine ever since i started writing on a million miles

29. favorite line/passage you wrote this year?

@coranfucker94 AYY Ok so this one’s an edit idea for the overall show, mostly Keith’s POV. I’m thinking of using the bridge, though maybe I’ll only use the second half if it ends up too long, here’s somewhat of my vision:

Driving out into the sun (keith and shiro driving)

Let the ultraviolet cover me up (shiro kidnapped)

Went looking for (Keith’s conspiracy board) a creation myth (Lance knocking on blue)

Ended up with a pair of cracked lips (them falling off the waterfall in the cave)

Windows down, scream along (everyone screaming in blue)

To some America First rap, country song (not 100% sure on this one but maybe just the galra)

A slaughterhouse, (shiro flashback) an outlet mall (space mall)

Slot machines (feud episode slots), fear of God (Bob)

Windows down, (Allura on her Altea simulation) heater on (the burning sun they’re headed towards on crystal venom)

Big bolts of lightning hanging low (When Lance kinda dies)

Over the coast, (Earth) everyone's convinced (Human team)

It's a government drone (Atlas) or an alien spaceship (Galra cruiser)

Either way, we're not alone

I'll find a new place to be from (Keith leaving for the blade)

A haunted house with a picket fence (Keith in the space whale)

To float around and ghost my friends (That scene where Keith is like ‘Lance you lead this part of the team’ and leaves and Lance is like ☹️)

No, I'm not afraid to disappear (Keith nearly killing himself)

The billboard said, "The end is near" (When they defeat the Honerva robot and see the old paladins on the sky)

I turned around, (rift closing) there was nothing there (Keith’s eyes contracting)
