southernwood : how seriously does your muse take themself ? do they prefer a solemn & intellectual atmosphere or do they delight in jokes & banter ?
i think chopper definitely enjoys jokes and banter and just being silly and i mean we do see him being silly most of the time. however, i think chopper also likes to pretend he is a lot more serious than he really is, or at least he tries to be a lot more serious. of course when it comes to medicine and helping people he is very serious. he takes his duty as a doctor and the care he gives people very seriously and i think he is quite professional in that way, but even so, when it isn't quite a super super serious situation i think he still would have a good laugh and be his normal self. i think you can clearly see like a change in chopper in that way. and half of it is him genuinely taking his role seriously and being serious because he understands how important his role is, but also maybe he plays it up a bit cos of this perception or idea he has of how a doctor should be.
