Copperforce (They are both of a similar age, Reginald is just very good at hiding his true age). Reginald and Hubert hated the fact they had to pretend to be enemies when in actuality they were happily married. They were currently in the middle of a shoot off between the government and Toppats, the government trying to stop the Toppats from stealing a valuable amethyst. Hubert wasn’t paying proper attention to the battle and before he knew it he had accidentally shot his husband in the chest. Realising what he had done he told his men to retreat while he secretly stayed behind. Right, Reginald’s son, was trying to stop the bleeding but upon noticing Hubert’s approach pulled out his gun. Hubert now wishes they had decided tell their sons about their relationship instead of keeping it a secret. To get closer Hubert pulled out his wedding ring, Right was very confused at first until he realised it was near identical to his dads ring, Right hesitantly began lower his gun.
"I just want to help my husband... we'll... we'll explain everything later." Hubert was trying to remain calm, not wanting to worsen the situation anymore.
Right moved aside but still kept a close eye on the General, not sure if this was some trick still.
Reginald let out a cough "Dear, I don't think nothing vital was hit. I don't want you getting caught..."
Hubert just shushed Reginald as he ripped open Reg's shirt and coat "Darling, you know I am going to worry. And these days, I grow tired of having to hide away our love."
Hubert found where the bullet wound was, thankful the wound wasn't deep. "Excuse me, young Right? Do you have a small knife or a sharp object I may borrow. I would like to extract the bullet so we can mend up the wound."
Right glared at Hubert, before handing him a small pocket knife he always carried around.
It didn't take long for Hubert to remove the bullet, pulling out a small roll of gauze from his coat pocket to wrap around Reginald's chest.
"See... I told you it didn't hit nothing vital." Reginald said, smirking at his husband.
"And would you have gone to med bay if I left you to retreat or would you act like everything was fine until you passed out with a worse injury?"
Reginald just huffed as Right let out a snort, causing Reginald to glare at his son as well before retorting "Like you are the one to talk, dear. Remember taking a knife stab for me back in the day and then I find out days later you were in the emergency room for untreated injuries."
Hubert's face went red as he helped Reginald up, with Reginald taking the opportunity to surprise kiss his husband.
"Right, you make sure Reginald goes straight to med bay for a proper look over when you two get back. I'm going to head back to base for now and explain things to Charles. Love you, my darling."
Reginald just smiled "And I'll give Right the same talk. Love you, my dear. Stay safe out there."

I don’t like hating on ships, and you can ship whatever you want, but I don’t like Copperforce. I don’t think it’s very widely known but I saw it once and I don’t like it.
