Valentine’s Day Blurb
Work often consumed your life. Five days a week at a cramped office with nothing but a stack of paperwork as your coworkers. On Sunday, you thankfully get out earlier due to the snow outside falling down heavily. As you leave the building, the snow bears down on your hat. The cold wind whips at your body making you shiver. You walk briskly to your car parked on the side of the street. As soon as you open the car, someone screams. “LUKE!” you laugh. He motions for you to come in. “How was your day?” he asked. “How was my day? More like how did you get in my car?” you said. He raises his arm and holds up a set of keys. “You gave me an extra set a while ago, remember?” he said. You shake your head and turn the key in the ignition. “What are you doing here Luke?” you ask. “It’s Valentine’s Day love. Let’s go out to eat” he suggests. You groan in protest as you take a turn down your street. “Luke, we’ll be at my house in two minutes. Can’t we just stay home and watch a movie or something?” you question. “Don’t you want to do something romantic?” he said. “We can do something romantic at home too" you smirk. He glances at you sideways and smiles a little. “We can also just clean the driveway too” you add. He laughs so hard that his shoulders shake. “The possibilities are endless” he says. My first blurb! For @complicashton and @heymikeys Valentine’s Day blurb night.
