Denk hierbij bijvoorbeeld maar eens aan de mobiele telefoons die we tegenwoordig hebben die meer kracht bezitten dan de meeste computers van 5 jaar geleden.. Met desktop computers gaat dit net zo, alles word eerst heel groot gebouwd en gemaakt totdat de techniek en vooral de kunde van de bouwers het mogelijk maakt om het te verkleinen tot een meer handzaam formaat. Er zijn maar weinig builds die Tim Warning van Dutch Lion Customising ons laat zien die echt extravagant zijn, soms lijkt het er zelfs op dat hij zichzelf bewust tegenhoud en juist zeer subtiele mods op de wereld loslaat. Dit is in geen geval een slecht iets, want elke build die hij ons laat zien is telkens weer net iets beter dan de vorige en toch ook totaal anders. Bij het kijken naar Timās kunststukken door de jaren heen lijkt het een beetje alsof Tim Warning bij elke build zichzelf en zijn stijl weer iets wil aanpassen zodat geen 2 builds op elkaar lijken. Zo ook bij deze Project S āMSIā.
Wat mij het meest opvalt in deze build is de keuze voor subtiele verlichting, het is totaal geen circus van RGB verlichting die vanuit alle hoeken op je afgestraald word alsof de case gezien moet worden vanaf de maan. De rood gloeiende verlichting op zich past zeer goed bij het algemene thema van deze build āMSIā de MSI kleuren zijn momenteel wel voor een deel aan het veranderen maar de herkenbaarheid ligt vooralsnog in het rood met zwart. Het feit dat de buitenzijde de rode draak van MSI weergeeft over de front IO lijkt zelfs een knipoog te zijn naar het āPowered by MSIā. zeer subtiel is op deze zijde ook de naam āNanoxiaā in een hoekje geplaatst op een groot zilvergrijs vlak.
Aan de binnenzijde van de case zien we ondanks de beperkte ruimte toch een zeer uitgebreide water coolings loop, waarbij vooral de fittingen tussen de 2 grafische kaarten een leuk kunststuk oplevert. Met de bracket voor het reservoir haalt Tim Warning een deel van het gevoel van weinig ruimte weg, deze bracket is uitgevoerd in een simpel doorzichtig acrylaat maar als hier gekozen was voor een dichte plaat had het geheel waarschijnlijk zeer opgekropt overgekomen. Het enige niet subtiele in deze build zijn de Cablecombs, uitgevoerd in grote zware zilverkleurige blokken zouden deze je normaal gesproken direct opvallen. De kleurkeuze hier zorgt er echter voor dat samen met de witte verlichting van de geheugen modules een mooie opbreking ontstaat en juist de gehele case een mooie evenwichtige uitstraling geeft.
Naar mijn mening heeft Tim Warning zichzelf met deze build weer eens overtroffen, dit zorgt er ook maar weer eens voor dat ik me afvraag of Tim eigenlijk wel een bovenste limiet heeft elke build die hij ons laat zien zet steeds een trede hoger op een blijkbaar oneindige trap die steeds verder omhoog blijft lopen. Deze Project S āMSIā is enkel het bewijs dat hij weer een trede omhoog is gestapt, een waar kunstwerk dat de veelzijdigheid van Tim Warning zeer goed weergeeft.

There are but few builds that Tim Warning with Dutch Lion Customising shows us that can be called truly extravagant, sometimes it even seems as if he purposely holds himself back and unleashes very subtle mods onto the world. This is in no way a bad thing, cause each build he shows us is a bit better than the last and is completely different at the same time. When looking at Timās works of art throughout the years it almost seems like Tim Warning tries to reinvent himself and his style a bit so no 2 builds look the same. Same goes for this Project S āMSIā.
What really has drawn my attention in this build is the choice for subtle lighting, it isnāt a total circus of RGB lighting which gets beamed at your from all sides as if the case needs to be seen from the moon. The red glowing lights fit perfectly with the general theme of the build āMSIā the MSI colors have been partially changing for a while now, but the most recognizable are still the red and black. The fact that the outside of the case shows the red dragon logo of MSI across the front IO almost seems to be a quiet wink at the āPowered by MSIā. ever so subtly the Nanoxia name has been placed in the top corner in a small font in a large silver gray background.
On the inside of the case, despite the limited space, we find a very elaborate water cooling loop, in which especially the fittings between the double Graphics Cards is a nice work of art. With the bracket for the reservoir, Tim Warning takes away part of the confined feel this case has, this bracket is made of a transparent acrylic if the choice had gone to a colored plate it would probably have made the case feel a lot more cramped for space. The only thing in this case that doesnāt feel subtle are the cable combs, these chunky aluminium colored blocks would normally jump right out at you. In this case, however, the choice of color combined with the white lighting of the memory modules create a very welcome break in the case which generates a very nicely balanced look and feel throughout.
In my opinions Tim Warning has yet again surpassed himself with this build, this truly makes me wonder whether Tim actually has an upper limit as to what he can do, each build he has shown us so far keeps stepping up on a seemingly infinite staircase that just keeps reaching higher and higher. This Project S āMSIā is merely proof that he has yet again stepped up another step, a true work of art which reflects one of the many sides of Tim Warning.
