so my friends who are not in the same area as me may not be entirely aware of the geoduck (pronounced gooey-duck). it's a clam. they're big. they're sometimes called gaper clams in other places bc their shells don't close. they also have a massive siphon that is very very funny looking.
^ these things can get up to three feet long. the oldest one they ever found was about 180 years old. but lots of people know at least this much about them. what lots of people don't know, is that when you fabricate one out to eat it, you deglove the siphon (funny every time) and also separate the siphon from the belly. the belly looks like this
