Mia’s Cafe was as busy as always it Made Lori smile to know how successful her friend had become over the years. The guilt that ate away at her with all those close to her was for some reason more obvious with Mia. They had been nearly inseparable from summer camps to school trips. Lori needed to make that better, Mia didn’t hold the addiction against Lori no one did. But they were still her mistakes to mend.
“Hey Mia,” Lori said with a smile as she approached the counter. Holding a photo out her there was an image of two smiling young girls. “I found this in one of my books yesterday, it’s our first week at summer camp I think?”
