... yesterday we were listening to a “conscious” reggae artist and I was wondering aloud to my husband if the artist’s life mirrored his music accurately. So often, it doesn’t line up. It led to a real conversation about our own music and what we’ve ‘preached’ in our lyrics... and how long it took us (or is still taking us) to actually practice it.
