(I think there's still a thing buried in my drafts where I tried to compose a response to this, but I never was able to phrase it well enough. Something about how I have a very hard time wrapping my head around the concept of [caring about political-type stuff for its own sake, rather than purely to appease people you think might hurt you], and so arguments that casually rely on this concept confuse me, and act as an unpleasant reminder of some of the parts of personhood I am missing. ...I suppose it's fitting to come across this while my dash is experiencing a surge in voting discourse, which is very similar in that regard.)
