High school graduation in few days and i gotta just tell you something. I really like the American tradition of wearing caps and robes to a graduation. Everybody looks the same. No drama about "omg nooo, somebody has the same dress/skirt/blouse/pants/shoes as me".
And you can wear whatever under it. You can wear a cheapass dress made of polyester if you feel like it. You are not expected to wear something pricey and top quality and new. And the whole event doesn't look like a freaking fashion show, but like a sophisticated event, an academic celebration, which it is intended to be.
Let me get this straight.

But I want to know why people in this community hate cishets.
Why do some hate cishets only based off of experiences in the past? Why do some hate them only because they’re straight and cis?
Because isn’t that what happens to us?
Of course it’s much worse for us, but why do we support sterotypes when we know what it’s like to be stereotyped?
I know someone is going to be like
“YOU’RE SUPPORTING THE HOMOPHOBES!!!”
But I’m not.
I’m wondering why so many people in this community take out their anger from what people have done to them on someone straight. Because that anger doesn’t fade.
Instead it festers.
It festers when we judge when we’ve been judged. It festers when we attack someone for being straight when we remember when we thought we were straight.
Use that anger to make change against the real homophobes and transphobes, instead of wasting it on any cishet you see.
So I’m gonna make a semi controversial post about pride. No it doesn’t exclude anyone. It addresses the Pride calendar. I’ve heard many people say they don’t like it because the whole month is for everybody in the community, and everyday is your day for pride. And I totally agreee with that. I just personally like it because it allows me to take attention off my personal sexuality everyday of the month. I’m happy with one day of pride for bisexuals, because allows me to take time to honor people who are trans, or lesbians, or gay, or ace, or any of the other gender or sexual identities. If you disagree with me, I’m fine with that, but please have a civil discussion with me in the comments or message me, instead of attacking.
