Lexa and Clarke were together for over two years. Now they're broken up and Lexa must deal with missing Clarke everyday. They have to work together for a project for school. They grow close again. In the mean time Lexa discovers that the book that they're reading for their project might be them.

After Lexa’s betrayal and the tragedy at Mount Weather, Clarke left her people, left civilization, but she’s waiting for something else.

It’s just another illusion, she tells herself. But this one was too vivid. And this time, there was no blood. It couldn’t be.

She wants to turn and run, yet her feet carried her closer.

It’s not real. She repeats. It can’t be.

But then she hears it. That voice. The one she couldn’t even bring her own subconscious to imagine hearing anymore.

And then, those green eyes sparkled, lips turned up parting slightly, and she hears a laugh. Her laugh.
