#continuing adventures

Thus far in NaNoWriMo, I've been something of an overachiever. But I'll get to that in a little while, as I have more to talk about first. My 2014 project is a continuation of the Trilogy - the conclusion in fact - that I was working on the previous two years. Exitialis Memoria Hereditas: Libri Tres - Vindicta (Loosely translated as Deadly Memory Inheritance: Book 3 - Revenge) picks up where the last story left off, with heavy metal superhero Cassandra Kowalski-Fox, also known as The Vixen II surrounded by flames and confronting the Balance Between Order and Chaos, Ezretuh Xahazan, in what could be the early end of a promising superheroine's career. With the typical mixture of genres - romance, super hero, spy fiction, horror and action - EMH3 has been a pleasure to write for. And with any luck, I will have this completed in pretty decent time. With the full flow of Spring itself flowing through him from beyond reality as we know it, Greene Vardim Black walked down the hallway at a jaunty march, knocking on the Gumley's door as he passed by. The little white Gumleys, naturally attuned to such things, were immediately caught up in Greene's flow and streamed out of their room single file, following him step for step, and he led them through all the house on a merry little parade to the breakfast table. After eating, they washed, dried and put away all the dishes assembly line style, humming along together the song of the day, Take this with you when you go A star A moon A flow The immensity of the Greenflow was such that Grissom Black himself was pulled right in, and sent the gang out into the world and the day without a second thought. Usually when they went out into the city, apparent or hidden, the Gumleys would change shape into dogs, but today Greene told them to try to look human, which they managed after just a little while, and off they went, and everywhere they walked, the green things of the city would sprout and grow and spread as the Greenflow of Spring came once more to the world. It has really been testing my nerd skills to try and identify people, although it doesn't help that 15% of the costumes are gender bent. So many lady Lokis, which is awesome. My brother turned to me at one point and said "Can you dress up as a member of AC/DC?" and I was like "Yeah. You can dress up as anything. That is the whole point." At any rate, today I'm going to the Decatur Book Festival. And it is hot as balls outside, but there are just so many books nearby. I'm here way early, when we showed up like 3 booths were open, but more are opening up. I wish that the only dress I brought wasn't black, but I wish I had had electricity when I packed more. By the way, it came on yesterday morning. Yay! When I get back to my house it will be livable!
