Hermione gets a nighttime visitor

✨🐉 The Constellation Draco 🐉✨

The sound of footsteps on the stairs suddenly cut over her low murmurs and she barely had time to turn before the door began to creep open. Torch light from the hall slowly spilled into the dim room and the air beside her shifted, glowing a brighter blue than before, as if to challenge the unwelcome orange silhouetted visitor.

She felt the rumble of the low growl beside her before she heard it. Vibrating through her and then out across the room. Something bright white flickered in the corner of her vision but she couldn’t tear her eyes from the person in the doorway as they finally spoke.

“Hermione?”

I couldn’t find a good spot for it since there’s already a lot going on in this one but he is 12 feet long (not including his tail) and since he can’t fly anymore (rip to his wings one day I’ll draw him with them 😔) I need everyone to know he sort of darts and scuttles around which I think is cute 🥰
