Jacob walked through the burned down building, the coal crunching under his feet. The smell of burning wood and flesh was fresh since the house had only recently been burnt down. It had been an accident and the residents of the house had died in their sleep and their bodies had burned. And Jacob had been there quickly because it had been ordered by his King to go collect the souls of those who had died. Hell needed more demons if they were to win the coming war against Heaven. So Jacob had been sent to collect them. And he knew that heaven must have sent someone too so he knew that he would not be alone for long. @constancelamarque

Grantaire was just thinking about how he needed to look where he was going when he walked straight into someone else. He let out a low breath and quickly went to help the other woman up. "Oh god, I'm so sorry, I'm a mess.. are you okay?" he asked quickly.

She smirked and teasingly put some chocolate on her neck. “I cannot eat properly.”
"Well that's a shame, I guess I'll have to teach you." Spoken as his fingers brushed over the woman's face, letting those rough, calloused, digits push against her skin as he leaned in and let his lips push over her skin, his tongue lapping along her flesh, his teeth scraping along where that tongue traveled, biting into her skin, but not breaking the flesh as his opposite hand grasped her hip, tugging her close once he devoured the chocolate.

Eponine wrapped the shawl around her bare shoulders and covered her head with it. She had never been to London before so she didn't know anyone but she didn't want to seem associated with her family.
The Thenardiers and their associates, the infamous Patron Minette, snuck into the brand new RMS Titanic on it maiden voyage to America. Monsieur Thenardier decided that Europe had nothing for them; America was where the money would really roll in. They had stayed in England long enough to learn english and, even though Eponine was a quick learner, she still had to to tutor Azelma.
Unlike her crooked parents, Eponine wanted to go to america to try and forget Marius, who had married Cosette a few months earlier.
She wanted a new life and shed hope to find it in a new land.

He was never one to travel; he didn't like it. Being away from France was bad enough but now they were taking him to another continent. Luckily he wasn't alone
