haaaaa I’m the same @ Akashi, i’m never sure how deep I want to go orz. also tfw writing mayuzumi POV feels like gratuitous self-insert fic….

yeahh there’s a lot of...layers to get around to lol (not that he’s the only one, but.) which is why im so in awe of writers who can do serious introspective fic/meta for him because first of all How and if i did that id be left alone with my own thoughts and like...haha...no.

13. hardest character to write

all of them...writing is hard...

but seriously though despite the fact that i want to put down someone i don’t write often here i still find akashi’s character difficult to navigate, like how much of him do i need to put down on paper for this specific fic? is it too little or too OTT...that kind of thing.

14. easiest character to write

mayuzumi lmao. he’s a lot more straightforward about what he wants despite all the “ugh why do i have to Do This” and like...i relate. lmao

22. favorite story you’ve ever written

would it surprise anyone if i said (at the moment) it’s honestly a tie between of dusk and cynosure? like...i know they’re unpopular and not the ships people are used to me writing, and they’re pretty similar in theme, but... it’s my favorite type of thing to write, and i think they have some of the best dialogue i’ve written so far ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i’ll occasionally read things from voltron (basically whatever appears on my dash, which isn’t a lot tbh) or my hero academia (specific authors only), and a couple other older fandoms here and there but that’s about it

im sorry but.....aka//furi......every time i try to read a fic that’s centered around it my brain is like ¿ idk i don’t hate it just can’t get into it

sometimes i send things to friends but never in a beta sort of way? they just get to see it before i post on tumblr/ao3/whatever

i’m too lazy n particular about what i want in fic to get a beta lol (original fiction is a different story but i havent written enough of anything yet to warrant one)

39. What is you greatest strength as a writer?

honestly i have no idea... i put a lot of research into my historical fics (i dont know if i do but people bring this up to me all the time so i’ll take it)? i’m occasionally good at humor?

40. What do you struggle the most with in your writing?

everything else LMAO esp plot...plot tends to run the fuck away from me the more i get into a fic

45. What is your all time favourite fanfic?

omg.. dont make me choose? i have too many so i’m not gonna answer just one...

but if we’re going by ‘fics i think about a lot this past year/s’ i think about agent for hire (gen-ish) a lot (i think it’s one of the first fics i read in the fandom which leaves an impression u know but it’s also very very good in kind of a character study sort of way) & also more sea than land (imahana) bc i adore the worldbuilding and relationship buildup. i’ve also read and so, from the bottom of my heart (nijimayuaka) and ghosts live in the hollows of your smile (nijiaka) like 500 times this year bc _(:’3

50. How did you get into reading and/or writing fanfiction?

aaaaaaa i like this so much! rakuzan ensemble + the terrible, dawning moment when Mayuzumi vaguely realises……he has Feelings…..

i like how the title implies Akashi has trials yet it’s Mayuzumi who also ends up suffering lmao
