Lie like a rug

          ‘ not much; codsworth. ’  everyone else from before is gone, dead or stolen.  jo doesn’t miss many of them — nate’s death was almost a relief — but the absence of shaun still stings.  ‘ i had the minutemen tear the houses down, ’ she confesses. they had been hardly more than ruins, anyway; she’d seen no point in clinging to the wreckage of the past.  ‘ the playground equipment is still here, but beyond that ? all that’s left is memories, and not very good ones. ’

A familiar sentiment for the ghoul. “You keep running, you might end up lookin’ as good as me.” He gestured to himself. “Now, I ain’t knockin’ the ghoul lifestyle. It has its perks, like immortality.” Hell of a long time to live with yourself, though. “But you start running, you don’t stop. At some point, you convince yourself you’re making a fresh start, but it’s really just more running. Take it from someone who’s done a lot of running: it gets tiring.”

     I didn’t think I’d really ever find as many great friends as I have, but joining the tumblr RP server started by the lovely Beenpole, I’ve found a great group that truly make writing an enjoyable experience. We have so much fun in the channels, and even more fun with voice chats, streams, etc. outside of rp’ing. I adore them all, and can’t believe my luck getting to hang out with such great people. 

“You know... your disguises might fool Danse, but I know that’s you Deacon. What the fuck are you up to now?”

          “I WILL NOT be intimidated into compliance, deacon.”    he spat the other’s name as if it was some sort of insult; finger still on the trigger but not directly aimed at him, just waiting for him to slip up.
