Okay, so I just installed "Portmaster" and set a "secure DNS" (Quad9) and now... Tumblr works again? It's now loading instantly, me thinks? I'll have to keep a look out for the next days. If different DNS settings solve my "Tumblr doesn't load correctly"-problem, then I can FINALLY use Tumblr again!!
Tumblr broken beyond belief
Tumblr hasn't been loading correctly for weeks. It either doesn't load at all, loads partially or takes forever to load. This website is dead, officially. There's nothing more that can be done. It happens across all of my Windows devices.
I may not reblog things anymore. Sometimes I'm lucky to be able to reblog, but it's very rare. Posting seems to work fine, although it also takes a while to load.
I am so immensely disappointed with this website. It used to be the best thing ever. Now it's just a chore to go through, and the only ones interacting are bots.
@staff Guys, this is a bit annoying; the app on my phone does not post my posts (what a sentence) whenever I'm on mobile data. And wether I have wireless LAN at home or not, my phone and your app have different opinions. I can watch a video on youtube and tumblr goes "the connection's f*cked" - like... no? It is not? I know it?
And whenever I switch from mobile data to WLAN I havelto close the app and re-open. Otherwise "the connection's f*cked"...
Got a Huawei P20 Pro (2018) with Android 8 and all the updates, not rooted, and only have these issues with the tumblr app 🤷♀️
Also, just to be clear that it's not a User Interface Problem, I did of course give the app all the needed permissions.

Attempt 2934 on Demolition Drake
Thanks to the recent Icestorm and Level 3 fighting with ISPs... my WTFast connection is abyssmal right now. I can’t even connect long enough to do the second leg of Demolition Drake. Oh I can reach the point in time to cast one fire JUST IN TIME for my connection to 90k, Which means the mount is dismissed. which means I don’t get my credit.
I’m just about ready to give up for the night. I’ve already lost a minicactpot ticket cause of this. I’ve not had a good day and this is not the icing I need :/
