The cute lizard from "The Elm-Chanted Forest" returns in "Carobnjakov sesir" ("The Magician's Hat")!

Also, that movie was so much cooler than the previous one. It was much darker in tone and featured lots of flashing lights, which really enhanced its impact on the viewer. Amazing soundtrack, too!

I had to copy the Ukrainian subtitles from some weird subtitle website, which had apparently taken them from some Ukrainian forum. Then I had to put them into the correct .srt format before translating them into English with AI.

Guys, today something crazy happened.

There was a movie I watched as a child, probably sometime between 1998 and 2005. I only remembered a few things, but the most vivid memory was of a time-traveling camper. During the time travel, the passengers wrapped themselves in blankets because it got cold or something.

After 17 years of searching, I finally found the movie - and even the exact scene I just described. This proves that my mind wasn't playing tricks on me and that I really did watch it as a wee little lad.

It's called "The Miracle in Valby", also known in Germany as "Valby - das Geheimnis im Moor" or "Das Wunder von Valby". It definitely aired in Germany at least once, and I was there watching it.

Okay, so I finally understand the plot: the characters got turned into digital reincarnations through a headset and are unable to leave the digital world. Trying to find an exit may corrupt you and turn you into an abstraction.

Some more tidbits:

This Jax guy is acting like an asshole

The animation can be jarring, as are the character designs - it will probably take a while to get used to it

The bouncing sound of the Gloinks reminds me of the bouncing sound of the Fuzzies from Paper Mario 2

Bubble reminds me of a Chain Chomp, also from the Mario franchise - really cute character though!!

Some moments made me chuckle, like Caine bluescreening and him talking really fast

I guess I'll watch this Digital Circus thingamajig.

It is constantly showing up on my timeline, but I know basically nothing about the show or what the episodes are even about... I've only seen some fan art of characters and apparently the ending is very divisive or something.

I never really cared about the series because I'm not into circus stuff. But it seems the show is way more emotionally heavy than I thought. I assumed it was just a kids' show with a kitschy art style, lol.
