Last year at NJcon Misha had a friday dinner even and he asked a question about who is intovert and extrovert and bisexual (Sod know why) and then someone in the audience asked him and he said all three
then "Misha collins comes out as Bisexual" became a huge thing over weekend and was reported by everyone even a newslettr in My counrty
I live in India and tumblr has been my introduction to the Queer comuunity(mostly) and I was scared of what was happening, it got blown over so much and then on monday Misha clarified that He did not indend come out but misspoke and he also stated that he is straight
That got him a lot of hate and a lot of his "fans" turned on him, it has become one of the favourite thigs antis bring up
this year's NJcon, yeaterday in Misha's panel, he was asked which side he perfers to sleep on and he said both and then when the audience cheered, he asked if someone was going to take his statement out of context and send it to the site "just jared" and then brought up the last yeaar's incident calling it a "slip of toung"
and then he told a quick story about how WB called him and asked him let let whatever was happing be, But Misha did not want to "pretend to be of a sexual orientation that I'm not for the rest of my life"
and now the fandom is doing exctly what happened last time everyone is runing with what was said a lot things got glossed over
Misha is getting hate agin and blogs are fighting eachother because not everyone is happy with the "jokes"
I moght have missed a few things my feed is actually very tame because I blocked so many blogs but overall this happened
As someone who speaks English as a first language but still has the wrong words just "happen" I really feel for Misha here
There is a saying in English to "think outside of the box" and I accidentally said "think outside of the bucket"
I think people who always use the right language, can't really understand how it's possible to make such a mistake
And even if Misha was being genuine and he really believed he was bi, and then changed his mind sometimes you can truly believe you are a sexuality and realize that you were wrong. Especially when sexuality isn't separated into boxes. It's a spectrum
