#cone 5

Don’t look at the ugly cat in the background, they were supposed to be a nice teal color 😭

Some yunomi tea cups in white stoneware. I included the glaze combinations that went into each. In the image of the fired cups the Seaweed 2x on Temmoku 2x is bottom right, Iron lustre 2x on Temmoku 2x is top right, the bottom left is ancient jasper 2x on Temmoku 2x and top left is a combination of seaweed and iron lustre drips over ancient jasper 2x mostly covering 2x Temmoku. The small pot is in white stoneware with Obsidian 2x covered in seaweed 2x. All fired at cone 5.

Challenge (impossible) take a nice picture of my work

My first mug. It is has thick walls and is mighty heavy but oddly cute despite its flaws. Amaco potters choice dark green was used to glaze it and it is a white stoneware clay body that was fired to cone 5.

Cone 5 and cone 6

White stoneware mug with amaco glazes - temmoku 3x with arctic blue 2x on top. Fired to cone 5. 

A crock and plate that were made in November of 2017. The clay body is a brown stoneware and the crock had some foliage pressed into the clay during greenware stage. I wasn’t documenting everything at this stage so these are the only progress photos available. Amaco Shino chai matte with potters choice vert lustre on top for both. Both fired to cone 5.

Flower pot. Sadly I made this early on in learning to throw and had yet to begin taking notes on glazes. It may be thin amaco blue rutile but I am not entirely positive. The clay body is white stoneware and it was fired to cone 5.
