Itād been an odd change of scene for the mage whoād not so long ago had been content with settling for Skyhold as his home. Things had gone sour for him though. Soon he felt the need to leave. His interests brought to much attention to what his intentions wear and the constant questioning of them got on his nerves.
Itād been months since then. Now he resided in the quarters allocated for him by the Venatori, and worked away in a laboratory carrying out the experiments they wanted done. His workplace was organized chaos. Anyone who entered would find stacks of notes, research papers, and ink scattered about the open room.Ā
Shelves that were meant for books were cluttered by glass containers.Ā āSamplesā. Labled according to date of obtaining, where from and what they were. All in slanted hastily scrawled Tevene. Hasty enough to make the scrawls act as a cipher to near anyone else.
A table of glass instruments sat pottering away in another corner. Some experiment with red lyrium where he was trying to figure out more of itās properties. Perhaps make it safer for consumption? Perhaps make it more deadly? Itād be something heād have to check.
Hair lightly pinned out of his face Jamus was doing something out of his own curiosity of currently. The report papers heād been writing left unfinished on his desk. Among the many other unfinished notebooks detailing the workings of experiments and their results. Right now though he was working away on a dissection of some poor sod whoād died not being able to deal with the red lyrium. Heād not checked to see who they were. Plenty of soldiers died and he paid no attention to who they were.
His work was then disturbed bothersome drone of the door being opened. He didnāt think to look up, simply yelled, āDonāt touch anything. Break something and I will not hesitate to file a complaint to superiors.ā
