...a painted wall is replaced by a piece of port- able wall. Limits are established and framed; miniaturization becomes a powerful convention that assists rather than contradicts illusion... The wall it self is always recognised as limiting depth (you don't walk through it), just as corners and ceiling (often in a variety of inventive ways) limit size... the easel picture is like a portable window that, once set on the wall, penetrates it with deep space. This theme is endlessly repeated in northern art. where a window within the picture in turn frames not only a further distance but confirms the window-like limits of the frame.

Bruno Panucci: Whilst reading through some of my books for lectures this week I came across one of the stagnating and defining ideas behind the Western Art Tradition. The Gallery and the limitations behind the ‘wall work.’ It was one of the things that excites my sculptural practice. the way in which a three dimensional or, even more so, a four or five dimensional piece can engage an art viewer or to be more Duchampian, an art engager. I think this is an exceptional excerpt for both myself, the engagers of this online process diary and my fellow artists and their practices to contenplate in respects to the presentation of their material.

It's complicated doing everything by halves where loose ends still have uses. Meeting someone at a bar this time, it's never a good time to give it up and walk away. I think it could be just what we need, so what you say? Got a real flare with excuses, got it down to a fine art. We're kissing, comparing photos to now and then where we grew up and wide apart without kissing, Triangulated, we're overrated anyway,so what you say? Love's suppose to keep you young not now, and frisky not ever, so where did it all go wrong? Want to, try to, need to salvage nothing. Anyways, just wondering how will the good times ever roll along, but I think it could be loose ends. Frisky kissing? Traingulated love? No, none of the above.
