Through visual art, I desire to express some of the challenges and growth I have experienced in my professional adventures within corporate America. Within my many transitions and finally in the season I am in now, I found places of peacefulness. I found the calm after the storm. I found rest. I found a death of what has passed and a birth of something new. Exploring my trauma with that of raging waters to express the chaos, power, formlessness and destruction, the process of relationships with others that hold you up through the storm and walk with you, the dark depths of the ocean expressing the process of the fight to survive, and the death and shedding of the old. To the vast, uncharted seas symbolizing the birth, and rebirth of what is new.
