Hello! Quick question - will recolors and such that use your previous (un-updated) versions of the bed mattresses cause an error as well?
Mattresses ended up not being the problem, it was the bedframes. So any recolours will be fine, they will just lack the new university dorm tag which doesn’t seem to be 100% necessary in my testing. I still added it though to be on the safe side.
Any recolours of my bedframes will need to be fixed manually as the resources that need editing are cloned with recolours and are not linked. SO those will need to be updated by the creator of those recolours.

oooh you’re right!! i did a search for the word “robes” in ootp and i found this: “Everybody except Harry was riotously happy and talkative as they changed out of their robes into jeans and sweatshirts” and so if they had worn normal clothes underneath their robes, it would have taken two seconds to change, but since they were having a conversation, they actually put on normal clothes after taking their robes off!
