4. movie of the year? I didn’t watch too many movies that came out this year, so I guess by default Blinded by the Light (I did enjoy the movie a lot though)5. TV show of the year? again, didn’t watch too many shows from this year, so by default again The Mandalorian (which I’ve also been enjoying)20. what’s something you learned this year? Depending on how controlling the parents are, I’d still wager that the secret ballot would at least prevent a forced vote along the party line. Parents wouldn’t be able to follow their kids into the ballot box.
yeah, in these situations its more coercion than actual voter fraud, which...I guess I worry that the younger you drop that age limit, the more vulnerable young voters are? but it’s not like there’s some ideal voter out there who is completely free of influence from other human beings. that’s not a thing.

The Wicker Man (1973), absolutely hands down. This is one of my absolutely favourite horror movies.
Midsommar. I feel like it's a basic choice but it was just a very intelligent, well-acted, well-written film
The Witch. Every day I think about this screenplay
Kwaidan. I find the last 2 tales a bit lacking, but the first 2 are phenomenal, especially the first one. The whole sequence with the hair is fabulous.
The Blair Witch Project. Idk to what extent it's generally considered folk horror, but I think it counts? Anyway, that movie had me feeling hopeless and depressed for days. Great horror

I guess technically since I have a laptop with a disc drive as well as an external CD/DVD drive but I don't own like. just a CD player
