I don't know if any other people who are objectum relate to this but I actually get both happy and sad when I look at the tech section at thrift stores. I get happy of course because I get to see technology that is often old and they're often very pretty, but I also get sad because I simply don't have the money or space to buy all the tech, and the fact is that most of it will go into a landfill with no one to take care of those objects :( sorry for the sad post but I just get so sad seeing objects without a loving home, yes I know that sounds silly but I think everything deserves to be loved to some capacity. I saw so many computer monitors that probably still worked and I just hate that they don't all go to good homes where they are appreciated, I love monitors and it sucks how many are donated without even being damaged or anything
