a new zealand resort is hardly maddie’s ideal rendez-vous spot. it’s not even an ideal vacation spot. goodness knows what kitty sees in it. maddie lazily looks through the binoculars from atop the resort, keeping careful watch on the vicinity. shoot all men on sight, refrain only for sympathy jones... she knows the drill.

she jolts, however, a moment later when she does see sympathy approaching the resort. maddie wonders if she’s come to fight kitty,or if she’s finally gone evil and has come to join them. maddie yawns and carefully climbs down the side of the building, whipping out a more civilian-looking hat and slapping it on her head. she doubts it’ll do anything for appearances, but perhaps sympathy jones will be less inclined to attack if she thinks maddie comes in peace.

she’d been under the impression that she knew everyone who regularly attended sunday service, but it seems she does not. this lady is tall and imposing, and rosa is certain she’d remember her.

         ❝ i didn’t --- expect anyone to be outside during service. i’m sorry. i’m not trying to miss the christmas celebration, i just... it’s warm in there. ❞

too warm, from mr. jasper’s eyes. still, rosa forces a smile and holds out a sugar lump for the woman.

...not what maddie had imagined.

she’d been thinking of simply submerging herself with her power, but, uh, submarines worked too.

    “…Well I… wasn’t, but I sure am NOW.” Either baseball caps are a lot rarer in England than Sympathy thought, or there’s something more suspicious going on with this particular hat—here’s hoping it’s the latter.

this one goes out to an amazing blog whose reply I still have in my drafts and I feel so bad, I’m so sorry!!!but also mun let’s me rant and gush about school and I’m so happy about that!! if there’s one person to blame for the amount of musicals I’ve digested these past weeks(?) it’s this one!! Not saying it’s a bad thing, but also wow - it’s a bad thing XD no regrets! also how did you manage to get such nice URLs?!?!anyway I really love seeing your posts on my dash. Whether it’s OOC (so much passion and thoughts about your muses) or IC - drabbles, replies, because no matter what your writing is so very well thought through and collected - cutting right to the point.in general I really enjoy talking OOC with you too, mostly because I learn a lot more of all the musicals I watch XD it’s just wonderful to talk with someone who clearly has a deep passion for the topic! I’m recommending this/these blog(s) because there is so much passion for all the muses and super sharp amazing writing!

never mind that the agent is at least half a foot taller. mattea has her hands on her hips & she’s shoved her chin in the air, which she feels more than makes up for it. plus !!   mattea’s got POWERS & she’s not afraid to us them anymore. she will if this very tall agent tries to fight her. because now that she thinks about it, she’s never physically fought a day in her life.

well, never mind that !!   it won’t come to that !!   she’s the MAD HATTER & everyone is terrified of her. including this agent. mattea will just have to show her who’s IN CHARGE if she attacks.
