Hope everyone had a good season 17!

This competition that you have created out of us, it has come to strike you down. While I was floating among the treetops you swerved and dived among the rocky precipices, going faster and faster. And while I enjoy the wind in my feathers to soar high among the clouds you plummet towards the ground at a deadly speed. For once we flew together, but now, there is a part of me that doesn’t trust you. Now this trusting part of me doesn’t tell you my fears and regrets, doesn’t confide in you anymore. As you recklessly pester me to keep up, you are oblivious to the fact that some part of me offhandedly would like to see you to fall into the ocean. After all the pecks to the eyes and tugs at my feathers, I still fly on with you, carefully keeping up while taking in the sights. For we have crossed oceans and mighty mountain ranges together throughout our lives. However, when you were trying to show me up, for your pride, or another reason, you failed to notice the nightingale with the golden plumage, dancing alongside me to the same music, and gently flying to the sound of the same heartbeat. For you are not my only companion, and now I know how to fly in harmony.
