In the recently planted winter garden at the Royal Botanic Garden, Kew, London, the white stems of Betula utilis subsp. jacquemontii 'Doorenbos' (Himalayan birch) contrast against a path side planting of the fern Polypodium vulgare (common polypody) and a groundcover of Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Kokuryū' (mondo grass, black mondo).

Fern spotted at 24:46! I am not sure what kind of fern it is, though. Looks like a common polypody, but that seems like an odd choice.
Maybe it's a Boston fern...this one a few shots later definitely is, thus providing us another ultimate combo!

An evergreen terrestrial or epiphytic fern, Polypodium vulgare (common polypody, adder's fern, brake root, wall fern, word fern) has a creeping rhizome that makes it ideal for growing in a stone wall. This fern will grow in a sunny or lightly-shaded location and is tolerant of dry shade.

The native fern Polypodium vulgare (common polypody, adder's fern, brake root, ever fern, golden locks) has colonised this stone wall in Scotland. This evergreen terrestrial or epiphytic fern has creeping rhizomes and is resistant to drought.
