Big cats

Currently on an internship in the foothills of the Himalayas, tracking tree densities and leopards for three weeks (pretty promptly after MA thesis hand in). Here are some big cats, which were not tracked down (sadly), but are residents of Lalazhar Wildlife Park [there are 4 monkeys, 6 pheasants, a snow leopard and 2 common leopards - unfortunately the 16 black bears escaped when their cage got damaged in some floods and were all killed by scared locals :(]

I have also managed to see one in the wild (very rare, apparently) and also three yellow throated pine martens. This is what I was made for!

Since getting internet, up here in mild isolation (not holding my breath, last time it was gone for 2 weeks), I am planning on producing a more purposeful post. Meanwhile, I shall be tumbling up and down mountain cliff sides, being chased by leopards. Okay bye!
