#comments and feedback

Someone dropped the most delightful (and monstrous!) comment on one of my fics on AO3 (The Arduous Taming a Difficult Prat) and it has put the biggest, smuggest, dorkiest grin on my face. And only a week before that, still through the comments on this fic, I was chuffed to make a new friend (hugging you tight @oceansuns), which incidentally led me to join a writing challenge I had never even heard of.

And this? This right here is the only reason why I post my stuff on Tumblr or AO3. Not the main reason why I write, mind you (because I will always write, with or without an audience) – but the only reason why I POST. To connect with people.

So, simply put. If you want more stuff posted, let us (collective 'us', not royal 'us'!😅) know you're here for it. It's as simple as that.

I could suggest you mention in an a/n that you’d love some feedback on anything you could improve or just thoughts on your work. However, that can come off really demanding to some and might turn em’ off to writin* anything. It can also work in your favor with some readers. It’s a tricky slope.

I’m sorry I wish I could give some concrete know how on getting comments/critique but it really is the reader’s world and prerogative to do so.
