Visions of Eternity Commander's Log
When End of Dragons came out, I kept a log of my thoughts and reactions as my husband and I played through the story and explored the maps. I rediscovered those notes recently and had a lot of fun reading through them. Also this... Can we bring this up? The look on McCoy's face when Spock calls him "Bones." He just stops, no more fighting, no more arguing, no more yelling, no more struggling to stay on his feet and clear headed, and then he just falls. It literally knocks him over and everything hits him at once. And Spock, touch telepath that he is, is so careful not to grab Bones' skin and violate that barrier as he catches him. It could have stopped there but no, McCoy is strong enough a few minutes later to stand with the help of the chair, but Spock just stays put for a second, letting Bones regain his bearings... And anyway...
I am headcannoning Admiral Forrest with one of those kindly old grandmas who is always baking and thinks Soval is "adorable" and "precious" and has accidentally gotten him drunk at least once, much to Soval's displeasure.
