Did you know that the voice of Commander Nelson is the same as Bruz in Middle Earth: Sadow if War and Devrim in Destiny 2? I heard the latter talking when I played and I was like "sweet. Commander Nelson is giving me orders"
Commander Nelson can give you orders from beyond the limits of his dimension. Good, if there's anyone I'd trust to command me around, it's him.
Nelson was voiced by Gideon Emery, who, looking at his filmography, has not been in a single other thing I've ever seen or played, other than the first sequel to How to Train Your Dragon, but I don't remember that movie at all, but I'm pretty sure I saw it, and also Final Fantasy 12, which I never finished (got stuck on one fight and just gave up). But, he plays a sky pirate in FF12, so that's at least two games where he plays a character that pilots an airship.
But, what I find most amusing, is that he was also a cookie in one of the Cookie Run games. Commander Nelson is canonically a cookie and you cannot tell me otherwise.
(Lord I hope "Cookie" isn't slang for something dirty. It probably is. Golly, what kinda sick jokes do I not realize I'm making?)

I’ve had a headcanon that Commander Laurence Nelson is gay for so long, that if it ever turns out that he isn’t actually gay, it would honestly feel really weird to me.
