Okay, nobody asked for this, but I kind of have this headcanon that 79s is like infamously rough whenever the 91st and/or 21st (of which Wolffe is an honorary member of both) are on leave and that our favourite ARC duo found this out the hard way... 

And I have watched the Spongebob Movie like a 1000 times and every time I see this scene, the same scenario plays in my head...especially when Dee Bradley Baker does some of the voices lol.

This was made possible by this post, (thanks one-million times to this soul) but I have not used photoshop since like year 8 DT and I’ve always been terrible at it so apologies for the crappy format! I’ve also pulled most of the reference images from bing and I’ve tried my best to use official ones only, if I’ve accidentally used any original/fan-made work please tell me!!!

With the war ending, most of the troopers wind up in cruisers orbiting Coruscant while the senate debates their fate. An alarming number of Senators want them to be put into stasis or carbonite, to be called upon in the next conflict. That’s when Neyo wordlessly resolves to go spend some time with the clones that he hadn’t seen since training.

Crys is easy enough to track down—once he learns where Cody is—and joins him in his search for Commander Keller. After a few comms, it’s clear that Keller must be in one of the orbiting starships. That fact in and of itself isn’t surprising, but the specific cruiser where he’s eventually located is unexpected.

Of course, General Plo is happy enough to invite the pair inside—and, in that mysterious Jedi way of knowing why they’re here, offers Keller’s location, “He’s in the secondary training hall, we modified it into a more accommodating communal sleeping arrangement than the provided barracks.

When they find Keller, he’s sitting up alone on a pile of blankets, watching over the clones who have decided to bunk down for a few hours. Neyo signs, “Let me take the lead,” to Crys, who falls back enough to let him in front. Keller hears them coming and raises a hand to stop them so he can check them over.

“Never thought I’d see you again.” His tone almost sounds cold, and Crys barely dares to breathe when Keller turns on him, “You’re one of Cody’s aren’t you?” Furrowing his brows in thought, Keller finally remembers.” His eyebrows shoot up, “You’re the runt that surprised us all with your technical scores, aren’t you?!”

Crys let’s a grin break out across his face, “Yes sir,” He exclaims, “that’s me!”

“Well what are you two doing just standing around? Come in. Get comfortable. I’ve got first watch.” He settles back, letting them approach, and they no longer seem wary of the medic when they walk through.

Instead of choosing an area away from the Commander, Neyo and Crys settle down at his right and left, curling close enough for him to touch. None of them need words to understand why.
