comishgordon liked your post: “You're weird.”
I'm not sure which you approve of, me calling Connor weird, or his saying your superhero name would be Mustache of Justice.

I’ve never done such a thing, son.

[You best watch out; I bet Hanna can convince Jim to pull some cute pranks on Harleen.]

Happy Birthday. What would You like to do today.
Thank you, baby.
Does this mean we're playing hooky?
((Seriously, though, I have owed people replies for a million years and I haven't been 100 percent into RP since maybe January and I'm constantly amazed that people want to talk to Harl. There is another Harleen RPer who has a much more brutal "Nolanized" take on the character — they even incorporate Guy Kopski into their story — and I am totally blanking on the username otherwise I would mention it. tumblr has suggested them on a few occasions and I am doing a horrible job of remembering the URL now. The moment I remember or tumblr actually shows suggested follows I will post about it.
It's just that for me, with all of the Harleys and Harleens and even Harlans on tumblr, for anyone to have followed me and to still follow me is amazing. I'm humbled and shocked at the number of followers I have and the number of friends and acquaintances Harleen has. Even better and more rewarding is the fact that I, me, have made friends through portraying her. Real life friends, people that I care very much for and trust and I know they feel the same about me. That's probably the best thing to come from playing this character. The chances at reversioning her, even if there are times when I'm not true to the character that Paul Dini and Bruce Timm created and Arleen Sorkin brought to life, the chances to explore a universe that I am a fan of, the opportunities to talk to so many different characters from every imagined walk of life, having been fortunate enough to have friends from this is a prize I could have never dreamed of.
So thank you to everyone who has followed this account and to those who have recently followed. Thank you to all who've spoken with Harl and let her get to know you. Thank you for putting up with what was a different take on a favorite character — there are others doing work with Harleen and Harley in the Nolanverse as well. I don't pretend to be the only or the best one or the first one, just one that's been hanging around. I hope she's a person characters can be proud of. I hope she's a character who does service to those who work in the medical profession, the psychiatric profession, to those with mental disorders, particularly to the latter.
Thank you and thank you most importantly to my RP partners and friends. Bruce, Jim, and Steve, my three "RP husbands"; Vic, Harleen's first friend on here and mine as well; and Connor, you little shit and brother from another mother. Harleen wouldn't be the character and person she is now without you and I wouldn't be the person I am now without you as my friends.
There are so many other people, but these five are people Harleen and I annoy on a daily basis, so they all deserve some sort of medal.
Thank you, everyone.))
Mustache!!! I like to call this apron the Tom Selleck! You are looking at a handmade apron designed by Haute Mess Threads.
I wouldn't call mine Tom Selleck, though.
