This semester I created an assignment asking students to copy two panels from Maus and incorporate them into a comic about their reading experience. I decided to complete the assignment along with them and this is the result.

In the Comics class at ActonArt, students were composing “How-To” comics!
The graphic novel medium is starting to really gain traction as a learning tool, and taking that to heart (and funny bone) the students of the comics class created one page comics about teaching someone how to do things! They each picked their own theme and created six lovely panels of instruction.
