#comic status

Webcomic Studio is a new webcomic hosting site that has been making the rounds on Bluesky and we decided to join up since we've always figured that there should be no shortage of outlets where y'all can have an optimal reading experience. Gosh I've been slow on updates, sorry everyone!! For those who weren't aware, my computer had a bad crash right after Thanksgiving. It was misdiagnosed as a corrupt motherboard, but ended up being worse: the SSD completely failed.

Most of my work was on it, and you can fill in the picture from there.

I've had the SSD sent to a recovery expert who will hopefully be able to get information off, but no guarantee. This has slowed down progress tremendously, but I was able to recover the script for "New Roads." In addition, I had some major projects to finish up with ASR, and with job hunting being such a mess right now, "New Roads" was sort of sidelined. Fortunately, the latest release has been colored, and will be lettered soon, and we'll be working on Part 6 shortly after (as we want to have a bit of pre-prepared material before the next release.

There is more on the horizon, so to keep this short and not a big life-blog, here are the TLDR Updates:

-New Roads #3 Part 5: Coming Soon

-New Roads #3 Part 6: Begins development soon

-New Roads #2 Dub: Half of the dialog record (since we're no longer splitting into 2 parts,) however we're awaiting the response for a certain member.

-New Roads #1 Dub: Original poster closed most of their channel. They sent me files, but I'll need to re-recover them, then find a host channel, or make one.

-Medieval Madness: Mostly recovered, script lost (but only lost dialog, I remember what was left to create,) inks and colors will begin soon, few pages left to pencil

Once I get a good amount of the pages finished, I may begin making posts on other sites to try and get some attention (since I'm not sure many people are interested currently... zero notes lol) but I'll figure all of that out later.

We hit 100 posts on the Underlimbo comic!  That’s including Covers and the “importaint” page, but I’m still so happy on reaching this milestone. 

It’s a lot but at the same time it’s not even a tenth of the whole story. But I’ll keep working at it. Four pages at a time. 

Please stop asking us when the comic updates. We've had the question asked about 3/4 times now in the past week despite answering said question twice and our schedule being clearly stated in our FAQ.

The comic updates on a Friday. Page-by-page. We had a page come out last week.

If you're coming here from Webtoons and you're expecting a full chapter to suddenly drop, I'm sorry but we are no longer releasing chapter-by-chapter. The full chapter shall not be avaliable on Webtoons until we're done uploading pages to ComicFury and Tumblr.
