Notes from a staff artist: Our first rainy weekend in a stretch compelled me to Olympia where I got to work with the artist/writer behind the comic pamphlet "Eight and a Half by Eleven" and "The Local Constabulary." We worked up a handsome, hand-bound portfolio to house the first year's worth of comics, which will be available soon on maybeparade(!) (However, subscriptions to the series are always available.)

I forgot my camera, so these are some sketches I made of our crafting environment. (Not pictured: a rosemary apple pie saved from an errant timer mere seconds before burning.)

These comics fill both sides of a piece of heavyweight vellum cardstock and can be delivered to you in a sturdy brown envelope by an agent of the federal government for a cost of $1 per issue. New issues are released on a semi-monthly basis!
