Preparing for your own #40FeatsChallenge!
âHey guys, I am really excited with the incredible response the #40FeatsChallenge has gotten from folks across the country...it almost feels like a great deal of people were looking for something to inspire them, shake them up and ignite them to live life with more passion and purpose! Â With that being said i wanted to give a few additional tips Iâm using to complete my own challenge.
1. Once my list was complete, I separated it into a couple of categories (40 items on a list can be overwhelming to tackle, if itâs not broken down into manageable pieces.)Â
New Daily Additions: Items on your list that you desire to happen daily as an âadditionâ to your daily routine. (Example: Meditation, Prayer, Working Out)
Purchases: Items on your list that must be purchased or funded. (Example: Concert Tickets, New Home or Car)
New Experiences:Items on your list that can be considered ânew experiencesâ youâve yet to do, or they were stopped and now you desire to restart them. (Example: Test Drive a Lamborghini, Compete in a Spartan Race, Taking a Salsa Class or Sky Diving)
Long Terms Projects: Items on your list that may require an extended amount of time to complete. (Example: Losing Weight, Become a Published Author, Relocation or Going Back to School)
2. Once you break your list down you now can begin to incorporate the âNew Daily Additionsâ, those items which will most likely require you adjusting your existing schedule/routine. These items take commitment, discipline and desire to keep going, so donât give up!
3. From here you I recommend you take a look at mapping out your âLong Term Projectsâ, what are they, what will they require, what people or resources will you need and the actual steps to get it done. These items take vision, planning and dedicated execution.Â
4. Lastly, you can address both your âPurchases & New Experienceâ items, which often are simply a question of budgeting and again adjusting your schedules to fit in something new. These items take proper money management, research and also again desire.Â
