Comedy Underground | Seattle, USA
Most large cities in the US have their fair share of comedy clubs. Although Seattle is not known for having a large comedy scene, The Comedy Underground is a pretty cool spot.
It is literally located underground beneath a sports bar. Most likely the people you meet at the bar are comics getting themselves ready for the show! Monday nights are open mic for local talents to sign up for 3 minutes of stage time. Seating in pretty intimate however as a fan of laughter, it’s my favorite to sit up close.
Most of the comics are local amateurs but a few of them are seasoned comics. They perform the best jokes they have in their repertoire in hopes of receiving a call back for Tuesday nights show. I have yet to go to a Tuesday night show however I imagine it must be pretty good considering it showcases the cream of the crop from the night before.
