“I made us our first dinner in our new place. I hope you like it.”
It was still surreal to the woman. She and Tommy were married now and had bought a new apartment, one close to Ferris Air and by the ocean. It was beautiful. Being married to him was... It made the woman giddy whenever she looked down at her wedding ring. Because they were married now and he was her husband and she was his wife. Aimee Elizabeth Jordan-Shepherd loved it.
“Hey, babe?” The words escape her lips as she walks into the home, half exhausted from the day. Being a pilot was a lot of work, alright? And maybe she had just been hoping it’d go by faster so she could see him. Her nose is hit with a smell that she loved dearly. Grilled shrimp and rice. Her favorite. She leans against the doorway to the kitchen with a smile as she looked at the silver haired man. How did she get so lucky? She wondered briefly at his words. They’d had gone out the last few nights while they unpacked everything and having their first dinner together in their first place seemed right once they got it all settled.
“I’m sure I will.” She bit her lip as she made her way over to him, wrapping her arms around his waist and leaning up slightly to kiss him. “It smells wonderful and this is super sweet of you, handsome. Does this mean we actually get to break in our plates that we got as a wedding gift?”
