Combat dolls and porcelain dolls really aren't that different when it comes down to it, they're just two sides of the same coin.
The biggest being that both are made of ceramic! One has a beautiful porcelain frame, spotless and breathtaking, the other inlayed with composite ceramic armor plating hidden right under its skin.
the lack of masc representation i see on my feed in the doll/mech/drone posting communities is actually weirdly starting to get to me
please if y'all have any recomendations for people to follow who fit that bill, even vaguely, drop 'em in the notes

It is not quite content with being but a doll. Its purpose is that of community, of being there for others. Sometimes others need to be handled but would rather trust those that have been down in the depths before. So there it stands.

Being a combat doll requires constant ability to endure violence. This one endures it for others, primarily.

Handlers!: Make sure you give you doll enrichment activities otherwise they might take their boredom out on things like your furniture!
And don't forget: all types of dolls have different things that they would consider "enriching"
One thing my handler does for me is She sends me on hunts to find songs for Her that we've listened to in videos we watch together!
But what works for one doll might not work for another, try out new things! hide their favourite treats in a rolled up blanket, hide a specifis scent or item they like in your garden, give them something specifically for them to destroy if that's what they need!
And as a bonus it helps keep your dolls senses sharp and ready for your future use <3
speaking of not being able to find masc related doll content, a new game demo crossed my steam called Dolls Nest, a game akin to armoured core but very heavy on the doll things.
theres an amount of customisation you can do to your doll frame, but regardless of how you customise, its still a femme presenting frame.
its a good game, i like it, im definitely buying it and playing it.
but it feels... bittersweet...
like i want to see myself as the main character but i just cant without feeling dysphoric
why couldnt i just enjoy being a woman... why couldnt i just enjoy being a girl..
part of me weirdly wishes i was trans the other way, mtf instead.. then i could enjoy all the femme aspects of transness without feeling somewhat excluded and dysphoric
i enjoy femininity, i like pink things and "girly" things, but i just dont enjoy being a girl
and the situation i find myself in makes me hate that

I've been watching one of the dolls under my care learn to make various kinds of tea. Its traditionally a combat doll, designed to be barely restrained on a metaphorical leash, seconds away at any time from tearing someone apart for its handlers and staff. But as its amount of down time increases its found itself restless and wishing to expand the ways it can serve and care for its handler.
Watching it retry again and again until it gets it just right. Learning the different temperatures for different kinds and what kinds need additives like sugar and milk. Drinking failed batches it doesn't like just to not waste supplies. Expressing confusion that sugar and honey are different forms of sweet, something its hyper efficiency focused mind never would have bothered noticing.
The way it uses the data slate we gave it to take notes on preparation, preferences of different staff member, always with its handlers focused on the too of priority.
And how happy it noticeably is when anyone nods approvingly or says they got it right. How stressed and tense it is till then. Its a thrill to watch. I adore watching dolls work and grow and find new purposes to keep them going. It makes some of the rough parts of this job all worth it. I'm thrilled with it and thrilled I'm getting to work with it.
