A Lavender marriage is a marriage between a man and a woman in which one, or both, parties are, or are assumed to be, homosexual. Usually, but not always, both parties are assumed to be complicit in a public deception to hide their homosexuality (although in some lavender marriages, the marriage partners may be bisexual). (x)

good morning i want to argue about how fictional characters from media fit into alignment charts but instead of that it’s colour theory coding by AshButNot on tiktok we’ll be starting with Remi today So Remi is a pink coded character, which is a subcategory of RED that for her means that she’s a natural leader, which is definitely something we can see not only from her official position being the Queen, but mostly in her ability to come up with solutions and get people to follow her. She’s a quick thinker and not afraid to take risks, which even further bumps up her leading potential along with her ability to listen. She has a typical for red coded characters desire to be the best she can possibly be, which we can mostly see in the way tries to create an environment thats good for everyone – both in ‘safe house’ and vigilantism arc
Second on our list is Blyke Blyke is also an obvious Red coded character. He displays leadership skills, though in a slightly different way than Remi does. He’s quick to take control in dangerous situations (ex. ep 101, ep 208) and not afraid to take risks, what’s visible both in his vigilantism arc and recent (208) episode, especially of he feels that’s the best thing he can do. His own drive to be the best he can be resuts in some kind of imposter syndrome where he doesn’t really believe in his capability to be the next king of Wellston as well as feels that he disappoints everyone by losing.
Third we have Isen Though i’m not entirely sure, I think he’s an orange coded character. He’s passionate and driven, but not in the same way Remi and Blyke are. He has his own passion and goals that are in general most important to him. He’s not as ready to involve himself in something that he doesn’t need or care for personally and would prefer to stay away from it. We see that he doesn’t want to end up in a ‘stupid leadership position’ that would make it harder for him to pursue his personal goals. As Terrence said, he’s a stickler for details and critique, which shows us he’s passionate about what he does.
Next we have Arlo I believe him to be a yellow coded character. He’s very driven by what he thinks is the best for society – we know that from the part where we learn he believes establishing the hierarchy again will help the school get back to peace, though that’s not the case in reality. Other thing very important about him is that external pressure is very big on him – we know he’s very influenced by his aunt, who makes him doubt his own judgement, as well as he was very influenced by Rei, and most of all, societal expectations for a high-tier. He’s pushed mostly by what is expected of him and what he expects himself to do about it.
Next up there’s Seraphina I would say she’s a purple coded character. She’s Introverted and grounded, doesn’t let many people in. Purple characters’ motivation is most often protection and that seems to be true in Seraphina’s case too – she doesn’t leave her comfort zone often and doesn’t seem to like taking big risks, but we can also see that a big point for her protectiveness are the people whom she cares about, what’s very easy to see when she actively reaches out to people to learn what might have happened with John. On the other hand she’s not s good with the emotions other people might feel because what she has is very internalized.
Last we have John himself I believe him to also be a yellow coded character. He’s very strongly influenced by the society outside him which is his strongest motivator – his desire to be strong was planted by the people surrounding him and the same pressure form outside caused him to break. We can see he actually does what he thinks is right for the society. It might come as surprise that he and arlo have the same colour code, but looking at them there are actually many similarities that come from their personalities and many differences that come from the way they were treated but the very society that shaped them. thank you for coming to my ted talk im probably wrong about half of these

6. Colour code you’re using I don’t really use ONE colour code because it depends on the subject. My main colour for the body of my notes is black and every subject has its own accent colour and I use one other gel pen in the same colour as the main one for the subject to write key words or add boxes, arrows or additional information. (that was a lot of ‘colour’ in this text xD)

Mornin’ Missed out on a load of work yesterday because I went to the Oxbridge and Cambridge conference! Woke up early this morning so I could write an essay I missed. TIP: When I write essays and I have the time, I try colour code the sections I need to include to be sure I’m including it all, and enough of it. Have a good day!
