Experiment #... too many, perhaps. I’ve been working on small, quick figurative works using the #anderszornpallette consisting of Ivory Black,Yellow Ochre, Vermilion (light Red) and White. I’ve used it to create landscape paintings with a more somber tone, but struggled to create the vibrancy and contrast I desired in working on this figurative piece. The good of this is that through some of my recent #colorpaletteexperiments I have learned how to more creatively mix familiar colors in a new fashion.
