Me: I hadn’t slept in a week

I have a very important question about class tomorrow. You see, while I was visiting family this week, my grandparents surprised me and my little sister with two new shih tzu puppies as an early Christmas present. And if at all possible, I would like to show off my puppy, Gus, at class tomorrow. It's fine if I can't bring him, obviously, but I thought I should tell you why this would be a very good idea. I have compiled the following list of reasons:

1. He's a puppy. Come on.

2. He'll spend 94% of class time asleep, so he won't bother anyone.

3. He's a precious floofball

4. As finals approach, everyone needs a little de-stressing and puppies are a good way to do that

5. He's very small and fluffy

6. Tomorrow will be his eight-week birthday and he should be allowed to celebrate by making new friends

7. His name is Asparagus and that is a gift that should be shared with the world

8. The rest of him is also a gift that should be shared with the world
