Just in time for WIP Wednesday, the second part of the first ficlet of our Wolves, Ears and Tails AU is published!
They Chose Him has now been renamed into What Happens When Isfān Is Left Unsupervised (definitely intended from Shapur's POV) and has now been split into two chapters after discussing it with my beta:
They Chose Him — Jimsa returns to Peshawar with two orphaned wolf pups and brings them to the one person in camp who might know what to do with them. Watching how quickly they trust Isfān leaves a stronger impression on him than expected.
Names Make Things Permanent — two to three weeks later, Shapur returns to discover that the pups have very much settled into Isfān’s life, whether Isfān admits it or not. Old conversations about family resurface, Jimsa quietly becomes part of the wolves’ routine, and Narsus finally puts an end to “Wolf One” and “Wolf Two”.
Since the published work has reached 11k+ words already, I guess it's time to consider an alternative for "ficlet".
Anyway, next ficlet upcoming:
Shapur confronts Kubard over his remarkably detailed — but apparently incomplete — reports about the wolves, only to learn that Jimsa has been returning regularly with meat, supplies and an increasing knowledge of Isfān’s new household. Kishward joins the discussion, makes an unfortunate observation about who is sleeping in Isfān’s bed, and leaves Shapur to wonder whether everyone else has already accepted an arrangement he is only beginning to notice.
Meanwhile, Isfān and Jimsa continue settling into a routine neither of them considers worth explaining.

TLT analog horror au animation (au explanation in undercut!)

So this au is open to collaboration because I'm definitely not the only person working on it
Nethie's horror au is a big influence, Minty helped a lot early on and is a founding father for this au, and Izze has been huge help with specifics recently on it so is also a founding father. Also with Rust, Zena / Z0mbiekisser helped tones and we meshed together their idea and the idea influenced off of Nethie's
With this au, the tombsonas are evil. They are not caring to humanity, they are forces of nature who are going at their own accord and which humans will never be able to comprehend (think like what Hoody represents in Marble Hornets)
The human characters here are found by them and targeted by them
Zero goes after DG and does like mind games and stuff like that. Forcing him into like a "video game" of sorts. First screenshot is in more detail on like a basic idea. There's a lotta info so I'm def gonna miss some.
Rust goes after Hina. This one it's gonna be at first a "ride or die" thing, pushing her to fight, to keep fighting, straight up until her body breaks and then at the end it's a choice of "sacrifice" and whoever or whatever she sacrifices she either dies or lives. Only the thing is. There is no right answer so she's doomed to die regardless of choice.
Armstrong goes after Haru. She's desperate to get out of there so she can see her friends and girlfriend again. Armstrong goes after her because they're viewing her as something he *needs* to protect, but like in a suffocating way, figuratively and literally. Whenever Hina dies, she loses motivation tho and gets stuffed into Armstrong's suit and is like frozen to death and suffocated think like being buried alive
Tesla goes after Snooze. They do a bunch of experiments and crap on her think like saw. She's a guinea pig to them. But Snooze is the only one to find out about all of their motivations, think like finding pieces and such like that one Slenderman game where you find like the pages BUT ALSO Ashley in The Walten Files. But Snooze does. Idk if she or haru dies first tho
And then Doc goes after Wiw Guy. Doc is conducting their own little "experiment" but like. In a way that's like. Killing him over and over again to see how much humanity someone can hold until they like are just a walking husk of a human. Think Diavolo's fate in Jjba. Wiw Guy slowly loses his mind with each death, and becomes by the end a walking husk of a human being. Also there's checkpoints where DG and Wiw Guy get to see one another, and like. With each death DG sees him lose himself bit by bit, and I imagine on the last time they see each other, DG just like bawls on him and says that after this he's gonna take him out to dinner and such. But Wiw Guy doesn't react like at all. He's just. Standing there as someone bawls on him
And when DG gets the next checkpoint he gets the message when Wiw Guy doesn't show up, because Doc lost interest and killed him for good. Bonus Zero makes one of the games after Wiw dies be like a kill Wiw Guy himself
Also with Geist we struggled a lot in the beginning with what we wanted with them, but I'm thinking like. Kinda like a mix of showbear in Walten files except they die and stuff. They're gonna be the way snooze finds out about everything but Tesla breaks them and then kills Snooze
Also at the end DG is the only survivor and has survivors guilt and like at some point again comes across the area where the tombsonas were located again even tho he's like far far away from there. And then it ends and like it's left up to interps if he like goes into that area to die or runs from it, or if he'll be trapped by the tombsonas forever or if it's a coincidence

Land of nightmares RGB(or Nightmare RGB) is of course from the land of nightmares au
Hes not the one to initially find hero but he manages to manipulate her into helping him.
His goal isn’t to save make-believe instead he’s more so wanting to either take over or get rid of it
He wasn’t always the jerk he is now it’s a product of how he was treated in his life before and he eventually just snapped
He doesn’t fear much, he’s the one to be feared in this world willing to take on anyone who apposes him, an example is that click is terrified from him to the point of running from him in the market
He turns ‘hero’ into more of a villain but calls her hero as no kid will keep doing what they’re doing if they’re called a villain
His mouth instead of test bars are sharp teeth with test bars under the teeth and when feeling extreme anger or during bouts of insanity a single red eye will appear on his screen. Extreme emotions can also cause ink to drip past his teeth
He’s a great actor which feeds into his manipulative behavior though he doesn’t care to talk his way out of a situation as he can normally either intimidate the person enough or beat them
His suits are typically some variations of red and black becoming darker over the span of his time with hero, he has a hard time trusting anyone and doesn’t believe you can just do something for someone to do it you have to give something in return(which Madras doesn’t help with reinforcing)
Dials is terrified of him but also concerned for him but he can’t do much to help
When he decides to talk instead of fight he’s quite the smooth talker, he could convince you the sky is green.
He also has a version of negative(I can go more into him some other time if wanted)
There are times he seems caring but it will only be for brief moments before he goes back to how he had been acting
This is frankly a fun AU that I don’t draw much for, there’s a lot of story behind it I may share more of someday but I think the easiest comparison I could make is it’s like an underfell version of TPoH with its own quirks

My new boy, Lune (Nightmare!Papyrus) and his brother Sol (dream!sans).
Lune was born with an aura that scares people away, leaving him lonely and neglected, even by his brother.
Sol however, had an aura that attracted people, but these people would only hang around him for that aura.
Sol didn't understand why he, the prince of light and positivity, could feel negative emotions, and would take this out on Lune, because he believed Lune was the cause of it.
Lune got so desperate for love and attention that he took the apple from the tree and ate it, resulting in a painful transformation into his new alternate form, Nightmare.
Once he returned to his normal form, he came home, only to find that his negative aura had become much stronger. He holed himself up in despair.
Later, his only friend Asgore came to check on him. In his fear, Lune thought Asgore was Sol and transformed into Nightmare, losing most of his control and hurting Asgore. Badly.
Sol found the evidence, both parties passed out, and he convicted Lune of attempted murder and banished him.
Lune remained on an island floating in the void for millennia, occasionally transforming and tearing up his surroundings out of frustration or anger or sadness.
With Lune's banishment came a loss of control over negativity, as well as many, many more fatalities for Lune's other responsibility — watching over the outcasted and abandoned.
There are multiple different endings myself and @1candyfarts (I think that's their blog) have planned out, but that's the basic setup.
Edit: these are not the final designs for the two.
